What’s the opportunity?
We are transforming our People Business Partner function from operational support to genuinely strategic. This is not a traditional HRBP role—we need a senior partner who operates as a business consultant: speaks the language of revenue and margins, connects people decisions to financial outcomes, and drives measurable impact. You will partner directly with VPs and Heads of Division to own the people agenda for one or more business units.
What will I be doing?
- Act as a trusted advisor to VP+ leaders, joining business meetings to connect people strategy with priorities;
- Translate business challenges into people solutions: retention, org design, workforce planning, and succession;
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to C-Level through structured monthly and quarterly reports;
- Own engagement strategy: survey pulses, forums, active listening sessions, and divisional action plans;
- Build and maintain People metrics dashboards; monitor turnover, talent leaver rate, and flight risk proactively;
- Drive performance review cycles, quarterly checkpoints, and calibrations with consistencyBuild action plans for low and high performers: merit, PIPs, promotions, managed exits, and succession planning;
- Coach people leaders through the People Leaders Playbook, structured programs, and ongoing 1:1s.
What skills do I need?
- 7+ years in HR/People, with 3+ years as a strategic HRBP partnering with VP+ leaders;
- Proven experience designing and building HR products and programs (e.g., performance frameworks, engagement models, people dashboards, leadership development programs);
- Strong people analytics skills: building dashboards, interpreting data, and translating metrics into C-Level narratives;
- Track record driving end-to-end talent management: performance reviews, calibrations, succession planning, and managed exits
- Ability to challenge leaders, push back on low-value requests, and prioritize strategic impact;
- Fluent English; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a strong plus
- Experience in high-growth technology or fintech.
What do we offer?
Besides the tailored benefits we have for each country, dLocal will help you thrive and go that extra mile by offering you:
- Flexibility: we have flexible schedules and we are driven by performance.
