We are looking for a Senior Staff Product Designer to join our Berlin team, working across our entire product surfaces to raise our standards for design excellence, define a design vision, and tackle our hardest design problems. This role reports directly to our VP of Design and partners with Design Directors, Senior Managers, and senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Medical, and Data.
You will contribute to the implementation of our AI Product Strategy aiming at making the lives of Healthcare professionals better, and to provide better care to patients. As a Sr Staff Product Designer you will play a key role to create an intuitive and delightful experience, enabling Healthcare providers to spend less time on non-medical tasks. For Patients you will redefine the care journey for patients putting AI at the centre of our patient facing app.
You will be working across multiple domains and continuously raising the quality bar, drive best in class visual and interaction design, push the boundaries on new interaction patterns and elevate execution excellence across our most strategic product areas. You will influence and lead through craft and hands on design, balancing speed and detail, providing big picture thinking as well as pixel perfect execution.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set the design vision across surfaces for Doctolib, connecting our brand, our solutions for healthcare professionals, our solutions for people, and AI experiences into coherent experiences.
- Tackle our hardest design problems hands-on, from raising the bar in AI workflows to driving systemic redesigns that span multiple teams and product areas, supporting critical business priorities
- Elevate our experiences to be AI-first across interaction patterns, frameworks, and craft guidelines, embedding design quality and our brand identity at scale
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design leadership to shape multi-quarter design strategy, influencing roadmaps, technical decisions, and product bets where senior design judgment is needed.
- Mentor designers and product builders through feedback, design reviews, and direct collaboration, growing craft capability and elevating design across the organization.
About You
- 12+ years in Product/UX design, with a strong track record as a senior individual contributor at scale. You have deep expertise in interaction design, systems thinking, and prototyping; fluent in leading-edge AI-first design processes and workflows.
- Proven track recordshipping complex, ambitious products and setting the bar for interaction, visual, and brand design organization-wide, ideally in healthcare, fintech, AI-native products, or in other highly regulated or in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to set design direction and influence outcomes across multiple teams, working as a peer to senior managers and directors in design and product.
- Experience designing AI-powered or data-dense workflows, with clear judgment on when AI helps users and when it gets in the way.
- Data-informed and hypothesis-driven: can own the definition and instrumentation of UX metrics and how they drive business outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to articulate craft decisions and design vision to executive audiences, engineering peers and stakeholders across all levels. Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Italian) are a plus.
