About Dropps

We manufacture bio-based laundry and dishwasher detergent pods. We aim to provide effective, environmentally responsible cleaning products. Our product line includes various laundry detergent pods, such as the 4-in-1 Plus Oxi formula for odor defense, stain fighting, fiber shield, and Oxi. We also offer dishwasher detergent pods. Our products are formulated without phthalates, phosphates, dyes, chlorine, parabens, and SLS. We use recyclable paperboard packaging. We are USDA Certified Biobased, B Corp Certified, and Leaping Bunny Certified. This means our products use renewable resources, meet social and environmental standards, and are cruelty-free.

We estimate we’ve prevented over 8 million plastic tubs and jugs from entering landfills and waterways, and saved over 2.3 million gallons of water with our ultra-concentrated formulas.

Founded in 1980 as Cot’n Wash by Lenore and Jonathan Propper, we launched Dropps laundry pods in 2005. In 2016, we transitioned to dye-free pods and recyclable cardboard packaging. We were recognized as an EPA Safer Choice Partner of the Year in 2017. In 2021, we partnered with Clearloop to offset our carbon footprint, and in 2022, we became a certified B Corporation. We obtained Leaping Bunny Certification in 2023 and expanded into retail stores in 2024.

We specialize in consumer packaged goods, e-commerce, laundry detergent, direct-to-consumer sales, sustainability, and dishwasher detergent within the soap and cleaning product manufacturing industry.
