We founded ECP (Extended Care Professional) in 2004 to provide a cloud-based software platform for the senior living industry, including assisted living and long-term care communities. Our platform offers five core solutions: Electronic Medication Administration Records (eMAR), Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Care Plans, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Move-Ins, and Billing.

The eMAR system integrates with long-term care pharmacies to sync medication orders, automate reordering, and reduce administration errors. The EHR system includes care management tools such as integrated assessments, a care plan wizard, point-of-care charting, customizable alerts and reminders, and state-mandated reports. Our CRM solution streamlines resident and prospect management by offering lead tracking, relationship management, automated follow-up tasks, and marketing tools for campaign organization and inquiry capture. Our Move-Ins solution manages the admissions process from initial tour to move-in day. The Billing solution supports financial operations by handling accounts receivable (AR), non-sufficient funds (NSFs), invoice generation, and payment processing.

Our software is touch-screen friendly and compatible with various devices, including PCs, Macs, netbooks, tablets, and iPads. We use a SaaS pricing model where users pay based on occupancy levels. Our system also offers customizable settings for assessments and care plans without custom programming. We serve over 8,000 communities worldwide, tracking more than 1,000,000 care interactions daily. We also partner with over 650 pharmacies across all 50 US states and internationally.

Our technology stack includes React, NodeJS (NestJS), TypeScript, PWA technologies, Adobe ColdFusion/Lucee, MSSQL on AWS, and AWS Cloud infrastructure. We also support integrations through an ecosystem of solutions, existing integrations, BI tools, APIs, and CSV transfers. Our customer support team is 100% US-based. We also provide an online knowledge base, university training videos, and webinars.
