Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel (19660) with advanced conversational English, focused on providing comprehensive corporate legal advice to the organization. This role has a strong emphasis on Peruvian labor law, compliance, data privacy, and technology services contracts, acting as a strategic partner to internal teams and ensuring regulatory compliance in Peru and other LATAM countries.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide legal advice to internal teams (Finance, Talent Acquisition, People & Culture, Operations, among others).
- Support matters related to Peruvian labor law (hiring, terminations, and compliance).
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and IT services contracts.
- Execute and follow up on compliance matters in Peru and other LATAM countries.
- Advise on personal data protection, privacy, and information security.
- Manage corporate secretariat duties: corporate and notarial minutes, and annual corporate obligations.
Requirements and Skills
- Qualified lawyer / Attorney-at-law.
- 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer / Legal Counsel.
- Experience in labor law and/or compliance, data privacy, or cybersecurity.
- Strong experience in contract negotiation and management, ideally IT / technology services contracts.
- Knowledge of personal data protection and information security.
- English level B2 (upper-intermediate to advanced).
- Experience advising internal stakeholders and working cross-functionally.
- Experience with operations in Peru. Desirable: experience in other LATAM countries.
