Job Summary
As a Mid DevOps Tools Engineer (141801671), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Administer, maintain, and optimize DevOps and ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Perforce, and Code Collaborator
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis across development and CI/CD platforms
- Manage system configurations, upgrades, backups, security controls, and ensure high availability and performance
- Define governance standards and collaborate with teams to improve workflows, integrations, and DevOps best practices
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience supporting or administering DevOps or ALM tools
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Perforce, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting
- Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL including queries and backups
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control management, and DevOps practices
- Understanding of networking concepts such as TLS, proxies, and firewalls
- Experience managing user access, permissions, and security configurations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex environments
- Good communication and collaboration skills to support cross-functional teams
