- Location: Lima, Peru. Hybrid work model in Magdalena del Mar (2 days per week on-site, with mandatory attendance on Mondays).

- Specialization: Corporate Law and review of IT B2B service contracts (Staffing and Software Development).

- Reports to: Senior Corporate Legal Counsel Latam.
- This is not a managerial or leadership position; no direct reports. Mid / semi-senior role.
- Mandatory: Advanced oral English communication.
At Encora, we are seeking a Mid Corporate Legal Counsel (19660) with experience in corporate law, labor law, and review of IT B2B service contracts. This role will provide cross-functional legal support to various business areas (Sales, Finance, HR Operations), anticipating contingencies, managing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance in Peru and, eventually, supporting other Latam countries. The role will have a strong focus on contract review, data privacy, information security, and corporate compliance, reporting directly to the Senior Corporate Legal Counsel Latam.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Review commercial and service contracts in B2B environments related to IT Software, Staffing, and technology projects (SOW, NDA, MSA, Addendums). Ensure agreements comply with corporate policies, Peruvian regulations, and industry best practices.
- Implement internal corporate compliance and business ethics policies.
- Manage corporate secretarial duties: corporate minutes, notarial and shareholder documentation, and annual corporate obligations.
- Advise on personal data protection, privacy, and information security.
- Provide cross-functional legal advice to HR, Sales, and Operations, addressing internal inquiries regarding applicable legislation, risks, and legal contingencies.
- Advise on aspects of Peruvian labor law (hiring, employment relations, terminations, internal policies).
Requirements and Skills
- Licensed attorney. Specialization in Corporate Law, Compliance, Labor Law, or Technology is desirable.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Peruvian labor law within companies, consulting firms, outsourcing/BPO, or IT services.
- Must: Experience managing and reviewing B2B IT service contracts (SOW, NDA, MSA) in Staffing and Software Development environments.
- Experience providing internal advisory across multiple areas (Sales, HR, Finance, Operations).
- Advanced conversational English (B2 to C1) – will be evaluated during the interview.
- Knowledge of personal data protection and information security.
- Experience in Peruvian labor law.
- Valuable but not mandatory: Experience, specializations or diplomas in Labor Law or Labor Relations.
