Job Summary
As a Senior DevOps Engineer (20422), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and improve automation workflows using GitHub Actions, including secure and reliable secret rotation processes
- Manage AWS resources including secrets management and S3 assets, ensuring security and scalability
- Monitor and analyze system logs using Kibana, identifying issues and collaborating with development teams for resolution
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash, and review infrastructure code written in HCL and JSON
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong experience with AWS services including S3 and secrets management solutions
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automation workflows
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Experience working with infrastructure as code using Terraform (HCL) and JSON configurations
- Experience with logging and observability tools such as Kibana or ELK stack
- Familiarity with SIEM integrations such as Akamai or similar security platforms
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency and automation
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
