We build automated data privacy infrastructure and tools for developers and privacy teams. Our platform helps companies comply with global privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA, whether they’re collecting email addresses or inferring complex data points. We aim to operationalize trust in real-time by embedding governance directly into data.

Our platform has five modular products:

• Fides (Governance taxonomy & ontology) structures data and unifies privacy and data governance across teams, tools, and global rules.
• Helios (Inventory, catalog & mapping) provides operational intelligence for sensitive data, from discovery to risk assessment.
• Janus (Consent & preference orchestration) standardizes permissioned data use with a consent and preference control center.
• Lethe (Automated DSR & de-identification) manages deletion requests, scales de-identification, and handles data retention.
• Astralis (AI policy enforcement) builds and enforces data policies for AI, scaling data access from definition to enforcement.

We were founded in 2019 and are in the Software Development industry, with 11-50 employees. Our specialties include GDPR, CCPA, Privacy Compliance, and Data Privacy Management. We also focus on Privacy by Design, DPIA Automation, Subject Access Request (SAR) Automation, Consent Receipt Management, and Data Mapping Automation. Our customers include Axios, Snackpass, Parachute, Slice, The New York Times, Ramp, SurveyMonkey, and Lush.

Our mission is to provide the trusted data layer for enterprise and AI. We unify privacy, governance, and policy enforcement to help companies adopt AI safely and at scale. We founded Ethyca to build privacy, governance, and policy enforcement directly into systems, rather than treating them as add-ons.
