The Ecommerce team shapes the customer shopping experience on Everlane.com. Through customer insights, ecommerce best practices, and cross-functional collaboration, we ensure customers can easily discover our products, understand the value behind them, and shop with confidence. We partner closely with Merchandising, Product, Engineering, Data, Creative, and Marketing to deliver a seamless, brand-aligned digital experience that brings Everlane’s products and sustainability commitments to life.

As a Site Merchandising Specialist at Everlane, you will execute and optimize our digital storefront, with a focus on Product Detail Pages (PDPs), Collection Pages, site navigation, and promotional experiences. This role requires hands-on Shopify experience, strong merchandising instincts, and a data-informed approach to improving product discoverability, site accuracy, and Conversion.

What You’ll Do

Product Detail Page (PDP) Execution

  • Build, maintain, and optimize PDPs, ensuring product descriptions, imagery, attributes, and key product benefits are accurate, complete, and aligned with Everlane’s brand voice.
  • Manage end-to-end image uploads, asset placement, and quality assurance to ensure product imagery reflects current assortments and meets brand standards.
  • Maintain product page accuracy across launches, assortment updates, and ongoing site changes.

Collection & Landing Page Management

  • Create, maintain, and optimize collection and landing pages to support product launches, seasonal updates, promotional events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage product categorization, sorting, and placement to improve product discoverability and align with merchandising priorities.
  • Ensure collection pages reflect inventory availability, product priorities, and the overall customer shopping experience.

Site Merchandising & Optimization

  • Execute day-to-day site merchandising updates in Shopify, ensuring site content, product information, and merchandising configurations are accurate and timely.
  • Generate and share optimized PDP and Collection Page URLs with the Retention team, completing final QA on email campaigns to verify product accuracy and real-time inventory availability.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and cross-functional teams to execute promotions, new product launches, and brand storytelling.
  • Identify opportunities to improve site navigation, product discovery, and the overall shopping journey.

Data & Performance Analysis

  • Monitor site performance and merchandising KPIs using analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Use performance insights to inform product placement, collection sorting, and site merchandising decisions.
  • Support A/B testing and conversion rate optimization initiatives focused on improving PDP and collection page effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular site audits and QA to proactively identify and resolve merchandising, content, and functionality issues.

We’d Love to Hear From You If You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, site merchandising, or digital retail, with hands-on experience managing a live ecommerce storefront.
  • Hands-on Shopify experience, including managing product detail pages, collections, merchandising updates, and site content.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising fundamentals, product discoverability, inventory considerations, and the customer shopping journey.
  • Experience managing product content, image assets, and site QA with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce analytics and performance metrics, with the ability to translate insights into actionable merchandising improvements.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Looker and Airtable is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web analytics, A/B testing, or heat mapping tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership over the quality of the customer shopping experience.
