We were founded in 2022 as a joint venture between Harrison.ai, a healthcare AI company, and Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL), a global medical diagnostics leader. We operate in the Hospitals and Health Care industry, applying artificial intelligence (AI) to provide tools for pathologists. Our goal is to advance patient care by integrating digital pathology tools into daily clinical practice.

We develop Pathology AI solutions that help pathologists diagnose cancer with confidence and report faster. Our product, Franklin AI Digital Prostate (Research Use Only), detects 45 clinical findings across Prostate Core Biopsy (PCB) and Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) specimens. These findings include Gleason graded malignancies, prognostic factors, and benign findings that help pre-fill synoptic reports. Our AI model has demonstrated near perfect or substantial agreement with prostate specialists on significant clinical findings.

Our technology streamlines workflows, reduces turnaround times, and eases workload pressures on pathology teams. It supports both digital whole-slide images and traditional glass slides, adapting to various lab needs. We provide an end-to-end workflow solution, from case triage to final report generation. Our solution integrates with existing lab systems and hardware, including LIS, IMS, and WSIV. It features segmentation to highlight areas of interest, quantification for counting and measuring, and options for cloud or on-premise hosting.

Our AI model was developed using advanced machine learning. It was trained on over 70,000 slides and validated against a ground truth set of more than 1,700 slides. This validation involved over 10 sub-specialists from three countries. Pathologists using our tools have reported an average of 30% time savings and increased confidence in their diagnoses. Our solution is easy to use, typically requiring less than 60 minutes of training to get started. It employs explainable AI to support clinical decision-making. Dr. Aengus Tran is our CEO, and Dimitry Tran is our GM for North America.
