We are now looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer(full-time, remote) to join our team.
About the project
We’re building a Canada-based digital platform in the real-estate domain, focused on improving the overall homeowner experience. The product brings together several interconnected services related to property ownership, management, and decision-making into a single user-centric ecosystem. It’s a complex, long-term product designed to support users throughout different stages of owning and managing a home.
This role has a direct impact on the product: the cloud infrastructure you build powers production AI-driven features used by real customers. You’ll work with modern cloud and Kubernetes architectures, support intelligent agents and semantic search at scale, and shape how the platform grows across regions. This is a true ownership role, where you lead infrastructure initiatives end-to-end and influence key architectural decisions alongside the CTO.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve production cloud infrastructure for a high-load, microservices-based product on GCP
Design and operate Kubernetes and serverless platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
Lead infrastructure architecture for AI-driven features (intelligent chat, semantic search, vector search)
Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability, and incident response practices
Architect secure and compliant systems, including authentication, data residency, and access control
Optimize performance, scalability, and cloud costs for real-time user workloads
Act as a technical owner and trusted partner to the CTO, shaping the platform’s infrastructure roadmap
Requirements
8+ years of experience in cloud / infrastructure / platform engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Production experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
Experience designing and operating authentication & authorization systems (OAuth2, JWT, Firebase Auth)
Strong understanding of cloud monitoring, tracing, and structured logging
Solid knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, and distributed systems
Experience operating high-load, production systems with real users
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. Firestore, MongoDB) and PostgreSQL
Backend engineering experience with Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Java (Spring Boot)
Experience with Linux and Windows system administration in cloud environments
Strong ownership mindset and ability to make architecture-level decisions
English: Upper-Intermediate or higher
