About Generation
We are a global nonprofit launched in 2015. We train, place, and support people in careers and advocate for improvements in the workforce system to open more opportunities. We offer training, reskilling, and career development programs, including technical bootcamps, all designed to help people achieve economic mobility.
We have a global hub and a network of affiliates in 17 countries across the Americas, Europe, SAMEA, and APAC regions. Our programs train adults for over 53 professions in high-demand sectors like technology, healthcare, customer service, skilled trades, and green jobs. We connect our participants directly with employers who are hiring.
Since 2015, we’ve supported 147,095 graduates in 17 countries, impacting 455,995 family members. 83% of our graduates find jobs within six months of completing a program, and they have earned a collective $2.2 billion in wages. Among alumni 2-5 years after graduation, 76% are still employed, 80% can meet their daily needs, and 73% earn a living wage or more.
We work with over 23,000 employers, more than 150 funders, and 10 governments worldwide. We also conduct research and publish reports on topics like the impact of AI on entry-level roles, rural America’s readiness for remote work, and opportunities for midcareer workers.
