Why this role matters
This role sits at the heart of building cloud-based, intelligent solutions used across Genetec products. You will contribute end to end - from shaping ideas to delivering production-ready software - helping customers better understand data, automate workflows, and make informed decisions. You’ll work with distributed, cross-functional teams and play an active role in evolving a growing platform.
The team
The Genetec Intelligent Automation group spans multiple countries and focuses on creating collaborative, cloud-based tools for AI- and data-driven decision-making. Our mission: empower customers to extract actionable insights from security data, prioritise interventions, and automate responses. You’ll join a highly collaborative environment where knowledge-sharing and innovation are part of everyday work.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and stakeholders to shape requirements, validate assumptions, and deliver incremental customer value in a feedback‑driven, Kanban setup.
- Design, prototype, and build intuitive data investigation and visualization experiences, owning data flows from ingestion and queries through to clear, explainable outputs.
- Develop and evolve scalable backend services and APIs, with a focus on performance, reliability, and support for cloud and hybrid enterprise environments.
- Deliver and operate production systems by improving CI/CD pipelines, applying infrastructure‑as‑code, and using cloud‑native patterns to ensure resilience and observability.
- Drive technical excellence by writing robust tests, applying best practices, and continuously improving code quality and team workflows.
- Contribute to innovation and growth through R&D initiatives, proof‑of‑concepts, and sharing learnings that help turn new ideas into production‑ready solutions.

What you bring
- Several years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL‑based data access.
- Several years of experience with React and TypeScript.
- A strong problem‑solving mindset focused on delivering effective, pragmatic solutions.
- Experience writing maintainable, well‑tested code and collaborating through reviews.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a distributed team.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with automated testing, containerization, or infrastructure‑as‑code

The salary range for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications, and professional experience, starts from EUR 55,000.00 gross annually.
