Why this role matters
As HR Business Partner for the DACH and CEE region, you are the central point of contact for all people-related topics across multiple countries. This is a hands-on role with regional ownership: ensuring operational excellence and applying strong labour law judgment, while actively shaping how HR supports the business through new initiatives and continuous improvement.
The team
You will be part of an international HR team, working closely with HR Administration, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Labor Law experts. Based in Vienna, you will support employees and leaders across the DACH and CEE region, collaborating across countries and cultures.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact and advisor across the full employee lifecycle for employees and leaders in the DACH and CEE region
- Ensure high-quality operational HR delivery, including hands-on involvement in selected administrative topics
- Provide guidance on Austrian and regional labour law, partnering with specialists for complex or high-risk matters
- Represent and drive adoption of global HR policies and initiatives, ensuring strong alignment across the region
- Lead local talent management activities, including performance, development, succession planning, and coaching of leaders
- Own the regional HR perspective, identifying needs and driving improvements or new initiatives
- Collaborate closely with HR Administration, Compensation & Benefits, Labour Law, and Talent Acquisition to deliver compliant and effective solutions
- Support recruiting activities in the region (e.g. hiring manager guidance, interviews, local insights)
- Contribute to selected global HR projects, rollouts, or process improvements
About you

- A background as a hands-on HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, ideally with exposure to multi-country environments
- Well-grounded HR expertise, paired with the ability to think strategically and regionally
- Strong working knowledge of labour law across Austria and the wider region
- A proven track record in talent management and coaching leaders, with the confidence to challenge and support leadership effectively
- Familiarity with the IT, software, or technology industry, supported by a clear understanding of business realities and needs
- The credibility to act as an ambassador for HR policies and initiatives, driving alignment and adoption within the business
- Clear and professional communication, even in demanding or highpressure situations
- Comfort working in close partnership with HR specialist teams while owning the regional HR perspective
- The ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, international environment
- Fluent English is required; German and additional Eastern European languages (e.g. Polish, Czech, Romanian) are a strong advantage

The salary range for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications, and professional experience, starts from EUR 65.000,00 gross annually.
