Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Specialist in Accounting Services to join our team at GoGlobal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing full sets of accounts, performing bookkeeping entries, generating analytical reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, they will provide mentorship to Associates, assist in internal audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, professional certification, and at least 3 years of relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and review full sets of accounts in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and delivering outputs within agreed timelines.
Perform account reconciliations, prepare and review management reports and accounting schedules, identify anomalies, and propose corrective actions.
Handle all payment transactions and vendor management.
Provide mentorship and guidance to Associates, while overseeing the quality and timeliness of their deliverables.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support internal and external audits, as well as statutory and regulatory filings.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on routine accounting matters.
Develop, maintain, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.
Identify recurring issues or risks, recommend improvements, and support implementation of solutions or projects.
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.
Experience in BPO or shared services environment is preferred.
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with digital/AI tools.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
