Role Description

As a Project Controls Business Intelligence Analyst, you play a critical role in partnering with the Project Controls Managers and Field Operations Organization team in helping to ensure our ambitious GFiber construction and customer goals are achieved. You are responsible for organizing data and ensuring the reports and communications between Controls, Finance and the Field Operations are delivered in a highly controlled and systematic manner. You will also be an important supporting cast member to identify and drive improvements in operating practices and processes across the company. The Controls organization is a critical partner and advisor to senior leadership, and is integral to the operations and strategy of the organization.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design and develop scalable self-serve data tools, ETLs, and other infrastructure enhancements to offer high-quality solutions to satisfy immediate and long-term needs.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, identify gaps, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details to drive decision-making.
  • Design and implement automation and risk mitigation solutions to address complex data and analytics problems.
  • Assist in the daily support of end-users’ ability to effectively and efficiently utilize the reporting platform.
  • Create and maintain documentation that includes system designs, requirements and user manuals for systems and tools.

At a minimum we’d like you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in a Business Intelligence role, building complex reports in GCP or similar platforms.
  • Experience using SQL, or similar analytical programming languages for ETL.
  • Experience using data to identify opportunities for business improvement and defining/measuring the success of those initiatives.

It’s preferred if you have:

  • Experience with Primavera (P6) scheduling tool and its data warehouse
  • Experience with Cost Management tools such as EcoSys Cost Manager, SAP or Coupa and its’ data warehouse.
  • Experience using data to identify opportunities for business improvement and defining/measuring the success of those initiatives.
  • Distinctive problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with impeccable business judgment.
  • Capable of working on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with stakeholders and cross functional partners.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $129,600 - $190,100 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
