Role Description
As a Senior Software Quality Engineer at GFiber, you will be the guardian of quality for our most complex enterprise systems and emerging AI implementations. This is a high-impact role that bridges the gap between deep CRM/OSS domain expertise and modern Quality Engineering. You will not only architect advanced automation frameworks in Java or Kotlin but also pioneer testing methodologies for Generative AI and LLMs. Beyond the code, you will serve as a critical bridge to the field, translating high-pressure production issues into long-term business solutions and strategic engineering improvements.
In this role, you’ll:
- Enterprise Automation: Architect and scale full-stack automation frameworks (Java/Kotlin) across CRM, BSS, and OSS stacks. Drive E2E validation for UI, API, and backend layers to ensure seamless CI/CD integration and zero-defect delivery.
- AI Quality Engineering: Pioneer testing strategies for Generative AI and LLMs. Develop rigorous frameworks to mitigate hallucinations, bias, and toxicity, using advanced prompt engineering to align model outputs with business safety standards.
- Strategic Escalation Lead: Act as the primary technical authority for field escalations. Conduct deep-dive root-cause analysis on production issues and distill complex technical findings into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
- Architect and execute end-to-end test strategies across the GFiber software ecosystem, ensuring rigorous quality standards throughout the entire SDLC.
- Orchestrate complex integration testing for critical business systems, including CRMs (Salesforce), OSS, Billing, and Provisioning, to ensure zero-defect transitions across the customer lifecycle.
- Design specialized QA frameworks for Generative AI and LLMs, utilizing advanced prompt engineering and evaluation metrics to mitigate hallucinations, bias, and toxicity while ensuring alignment with core business logic.
- Build and maintain robust, full-stack automation suites using Java or Kotlin, targeting UI, API, and backend layers to accelerate CI/CD pipelines and ensure system stability.
- Act as the primary engineering lead for field escalations, driving root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex production issues and translating technical defects into clear, actionable executive communications for stakeholders.
At a minimum we’d like you to have:
- 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, including at least 5 years dedicated to architecting and developing automated test solutions.
- Experience coding in Java or Kotlin for building scalable automation frameworks.
- Experience in CRM, BSS, and OSS testing, encompassing functional, integration, regression, and performance/load testing.
- Experience testing AI models and LLM architectures, including the development of prompt-based validation strategies.
- Experience with SDLC within Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on modern testing methodologies (TDD/BDD)
It’s preferred if you have:
- Salesforce Certifications (Platform Developer or Administrator).
- Experience coding in Python for AI workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI model hosting.
- Experience with load/performance testing and security testing principles.
- Problem handling skills with the ability to navigate high-pressure field escalation scenarios.
