Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Support Officer to support the Contracts Manager with contract administration, compliance, financial processing, and contractor performance monitoring.
- Provide administrative and quality assurance support for contract activities and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Griffith University Procurement Policy and the Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP).
- Maintain contract records, certifications, licences, and related documentation.
- Prepare and process contract variations and monitor upcoming contract renewals.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, purchase orders, payment processing and various procurement activities
- Monitor contractor performance, KPI compliance, statutory maintenance reporting, and contractor inductions.
- Review labour hour amendments (RTCs) submitted by contractors.
- Maintain Power BI reports relating to maintenance and outstanding work requests.
- Liaise with Operations and Facilities Management teams regarding contractor issues and non-compliance.
- Provide general administrative support, including meeting coordination, minutes, SharePoint maintenance, and spreadsheet updates.

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in contract administration, compliance, or business support. You have strong administrative and financial processing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to work effectively with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. You are confident using systems such as finance platforms, SharePoint, spreadsheets, and reporting tools like Power BI.
You demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong commitment to compliance and quality assurance, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and support operational outcomes.
What we can offer
This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based either at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary range
HEW level 5 $84,918 - $92,456 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
