About the Opportunity
The Griffith Sciences Group takes pride in its ongoing global contributions to the higher education sector. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Support Officer to primarily support our Dean Academic.
As an Executive Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of a portfolio of activities in the Dean (Academic) office – including the International portfolio for the Sciences Group.
Working under broad direction, you will provide high level administrative and operational support, assist with coordinating projects, and contribute to management activities. Your responsibilities will include support for committees, project-based work, and operational support for internationalisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high level administrative and operational support, including day to day coordination and contributing to Operational and Strategic Plan delivery.
Coordinate small scale projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Conduct research, analyse data from internal and external sources.
Coordinate activity involved in hosting visiting delegations onshore, and offshore international recruitment and marketing.
Assist in development and maintenance of international partnerships.
Manage complex information requests, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
Assist staff with University enterprise systems (finance, HR, procurement).
About you
- The occupant of this position will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.

Salary Range
HEW 6 salary – Base range - $91,843.49 - $97,964.71 + 17% super. Full package range - $107,456.89 - $114,618.72.
