Our Future Students contact centre team plays a critical role in helping people make life-changing decisions about their education and future.
Job Description
As a Future Student Consult Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective students and their families. You’ll deliver tailored, high-quality advice and create positive and meaningful experiences that inspire confidence in Griffith. Here’s how you’ll make it matter:
Provide accurate and personalised advice to domestic prospective students across multiple channels including phone, email, live chat and SMS.
Support enquiry management and lead nurturing by resolving or triaging requests and capturing meaningful data within the CRM system.
Deliver tailored value based conversations to drive recruitment outcomes.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and consistent information and service delivery.
Participate in recruitment activities and events, sharing frontline insights to continuously improve the prospective student experience.

You will also have:
A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build rapport and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with diverse audiences across digital and phone channels.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet performance targets and work effectively within structured processes.
Sound digital capability, including experience using CRM systems or contact centre technologies.
A relevant bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in higher education recruitment is desirable.
What we can offer
This is a continuing, full time position primarily based at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $79,705 – $89,416 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $93,254 – $104,616 per annum.
