Job Description
The IaaS Product team (Infrastructure as a Service) delivers secure, highly available infrastructure including Windows, Unix, VMware, Cloud IaaS and PaaS, Server and Storage. In this role, you’ll be providing excellent customer service while working in a team that builds tools and platforms for delivering Windows Servers services onsite and soon in the cloud.
The position’s primary focus is operational and project work for management of Windows servers, applications and Active Directory.
To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated IT professional with relevant qualifications and a background in supporting Windows Servers and Active Directory with a strong desire for continuous learning.
You will
- Enjoy engaging with your peers both within your team and across Digital Foundations on a mix of BAU and project work
- Ability to troubleshoot and work within a small team of engineers.
- Be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Want the opportunity to uplift your technical skills.
- Enjoy solving problems and learning something new every day within a supportive team environment.
- Appreciate flexible work-from-home options, with a 60% onsite / 40% remote work split.
About you
- Demonstrated experience supporting a large enterprise Microsoft Windows environment
- Demonstrated experience using Active Directory, Group Policy and SCCM.
- Some experience in PowerShell scripting.
- Programming and scripting skills applied to automation and solution development, including PowerShell (Desirable).
- Experience with cloud-based deployments and support (e.g., Azure, AWS) is well regarded.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment is well regarded.
- Software Development and /or DevOps skills are well regarded.
- Availability to participate on the Windows on-call roster, approximately every 4-5 weeks, essential.

What we can offer
This is a full-time position continuing position, primarily based at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other locations.
HEW 6 Salary range - $91,843.49 - $97,964.71 + 17% superannuation. Total salary package range $107,456.88 - $114,618.71.
