Senior Corporate Communications Manager (Remote)
Guild is hiring a Senior Manager on its Corporate Communications team. The Senior Manager will support the strategy and manage the day-to-day execution of Guild’s Corporate Communication function in order to drive GTM efforts and accelerate growth. The Senior Manager will specifically be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for executive communications, and play a key role in strengthening awareness of Guild in target markets and the public sector.
What You’ll Do:
Corporate Communications & PR:
- Contribute to overarching corporate messaging, narratives, and positioning
- Identify, pitch, and secure proactive PR tied to company milestones, research, partnerships, and market moments to advance Guild’s narrative
- Cultivate relationships with top tier business reporters and those in key verticals
- Respond to press inquiries and serve as on-the-record spokesperson for Guild
- Support issues monitoring, risk assessment, and crisis communications
- Stay on top of news trends and stories related to Guild’s work
Executive Communications:
- Provide communications support to the CEO and broader Executive Team, across messaging, thought leadership, media, social, and speaking opportunities
- Develop and manage a spokesperson bench strategy, preparing executives, internal experts, and customer champions for media and speaking opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally to scale a customer evangelist spokesperson program to amplify customer voices in media, social, events, and thought leadership
Policy Communications:
- Collaborate with public sector and policy teams to develop clear, credible points of view on funding, workforce development, and relevant initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with policy and public sector reporters.
- Drive proactive storytelling in partnership with public sector and policy partners, resulting in earned media, thought leadership, and speaking opportunities
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic communications, ideally in B2B, technology, workforce, or policy
- Proven experience supporting senior executives, including direct CEO communications support
- Established media relationships and a track record of securing meaningful, tier 1 coverage
- Comfort operating at both the strategic and executional levels, setting direction while also rolling up your sleeves in fast-moving, high-visibility environments
- Strong cross-functional mindset with the ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives
- Account or client management experience
- Calm, proactive, and flexible approach to work
We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $130,000-$149,100 PLUS variable (bonus) compensation eligibility and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
