About the role
HackerRank is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to shape how our brand shows up across campaigns, content, events and digital experiences. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore.
As a senior individual contributor, you will own projects from concept to delivery, work independently and turn ideas into thoughtful, high-quality creative. You will report to the Brand Design Lead and partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to bring work to life across channels.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving between strategic thinking and hands-on design, cares deeply about craft and understands how brand design can support business goals and strengthen a larger system.

What you will do
- Own creative development and execution of integrated brand and marketing campaigns. Turn briefs, messaging and strategy into compelling visual concepts.
- Design across social, presentations, digital campaigns, reports, events and product launches. Build scalable campaign systems that work consistently across channels.
- Partner with the Brand Design Lead on creative direction, maintaining a high bar for quality.
- Manage projects independently from concept through production and delivery. Collaborate with marketers, copywriters, product designers, agencies and production partners.
- Present work clearly, explain decisions and respond thoughtfully to feedback. Apply and evolve HackerRank’s brand system.
- Prepare production-ready files for digital and physical formats. Raise the standard of craft, consistency and storytelling across the brand.
What we are looking for
- 6+ years in brand, visual or communication design, ideally in tech, product or creative environments.
- A portfolio showing strong conceptual thinking, typography, layout and visual storytelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and motion tools.
- Strong presentation design skills and clear visual narrative building.
- Solid understanding of brand systems and how to apply them without feeling repetitive.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver polished work on deadline. Strong communication and collaboration skills with creative and non-creative partners.
- Judgement to know when to follow a system and when to push it forward. Ability to work independently, manage priorities and own outcomes.
- Confidence using AI-powered tools across research, ideation, image generation, prototyping and production. Strong creative judgement refining AI-generated outputs into intentional, on-brand work.
- Curiosity about emerging AI tools and willingness to experiment and share new approaches.
You will thrive in this role if you have
- Experience with motion design, prototyping or interactive brand experiences.
- Familiarity with After Effects, Rive, Framer or similar motion/web tools.
- Experience working with agencies, illustrators, photographers or production vendors.
- An interest in AI, developer tools, technology and the future of work.
