As the Growth Lead - Commercial Partnerships, you’ll be the driving force behind revenue growth for the HelloFresh Group in New Zealand. This high-impact role is crucial for delivering strong ROI across our existing Affiliate and Partnership channels while pioneering and scaling our new Retail Media business. Your core mission will be to connect major brands and media agencies with our high-intent customer base, leveraging the HelloFresh Group’s physical and digital advertising ecosystem (sampling, recipe integrations, etc.) for their measurable growth.
This role is based in Penrose, Auckland and reports to the Associate Director - Commercial Partnerships. We are looking for someone commercially-minded, numbers-focused, a strong negotiator, a savvy relationship builder, and a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities to grow and innovate.
You will…
- Lead and execute the long-term Partnership and Affiliate strategy for the New Zealand market.
- Drive significant customer conversion and ROI by actively identifying, recruiting, and negotiating high-value partners and commercial structures.
- Optimise the performance of existing partners through strategic initiatives (tenancy/high exposure, commission structures, creative strategy, etc.).
- Own the end-to-end relationship management with top-tier partners, brands, and creative/media agencies.
- Be fully accountable for budget management, conversion, and ROI targets.
- Pioneer our Retail Media business development efforts, building a robust sales pipeline from scratch through proactive, high-volume outreach and cold prospecting.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial lead generation right through to negotiating and securing high-value commercial agreements.
- Maintain impeccable pipeline hygiene and provide accurate revenue forecasting using CRM tools like HubSpot.
You have/are…
- 5+ years of experience in the Australian/New Zealand Affiliate and Partnerships industry with a strong network of established publisher relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the affiliate and partnership landscape, including tracking platforms (e.g., Impact Radius) and all types of reward models.
- A proven sales track record, demonstrating an ability to build a pipeline from scratch and secure high-value commercial deals.
- Proven success in managing sales funnels and translating campaign data into actionable strategic insights using CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, comfortable engaging with both internal and external senior stakeholders.
- A confident negotiator, skilled in developing compelling proposals and business cases to launch and expand successful partnerships.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
