As the Production Trainer at Youfoodz, you will be the driving force behind developing our diverse production team. This role is crucial for ensuring our high standards of compliance and safety are met across the business. You’ll be responsible for sharing your knowledge and building the capacity of our functional and business teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and positive behaviour..
This role is based in Karawatha, Brisbane and reports to the Workforce Planning and Training Manager.
You will…
- Design and deliver engaging, hands-on production training programmes for a diverse workforce.
- Lead induction sessions to welcome and prepare our new employees.
- Develop individual employee training plans that align with our company’s development strategy.
- Keep all training materials and programmes fresh, relevant, and value-adding to the business.
- Ensure all programmes are updated to meet both best practice and the latest legislative and GMP compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their specific training requirements.
- Actively work to improve employee engagement by facilitating learning and modelling the Youfoodz Values.
- Manage and maintain our systems to accurately track all training completions and compliance records.
You have…
- A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 + LLN+TAESS502 or TAE40116 or higher).
- Sound knowledge and experience at a supervisory level within the food manufacturing sector.
- A strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in the English language.
- Desirable: Experience in a manufacturing environment specifically as a Learning Partner/Trainer or a Chef/Cook qualification.
