The role

The Team Lead, Growth Optimization executes growth initiatives by managing audience strategy and ad progression performance to drive acquisition and conversion improvements across key marketing channels. This role manages the day-to-day execution of Growth Optimization initiatives, with a clear focus on optimizing first-party data utilization, accelerating acquisition and conversion performance, and ensuring efficient use of marketing spend. This role demands an execution-focused leader to drive growth initiatives through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration, supporting team priorities while maximizing ROI and operational efficiency.

• Improving how efficiently we acquire and convert customers at scale
• Making better and more consistent use of first-party data across marketing and Ad Progression
• Managing and supporting team members with clear ownership and high standards
• Making growth work more consistent and effective across assigned marketing channels
• Supporting alignment across marketing, product & tech teams on shared objectives

What you’ll do

• Manage and support team members across audience strategy and ad progression initiatives, fostering strong ownership and clear priorities
• Execute and drive Growth Optimization initiatives aligned with overall strategy and clear quarterly objectives
• Contribute to the roadmap and priorities of partner teams by providing input on audience strategy, experimentation and ad progression performance
• Work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, AdTech and Analytics teams to ensure aligned strategies and strong business impact
• Drive data-based decision making by reviewing performance results and using insights to optimize priorities within assigned areas
• Oversee execution of audience strategy, experimentation and ad progression initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of acquisition and conversion performance
• Establish and maintain strong KPI tracking, reporting and performance standards for assigned Growth Optimization initiatives
• Turn learnings from tests and performance analysis into clear actions and measurable improvements
• Ensure solutions are designed to scale across markets and deliver sustainable results
• Stay current on industry tools and best practices relevant to assigned channel and function
• Support team members in developing their skills and understanding of Growth Optimization fundamentals

What you’ll bring

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, CRO / Ad Progression, audience, or related roles, preferably in a data-driven or performance-focused environment
• Experience managing or mentoring individual team members on specific projects or functions
• Strong understanding of performance marketing, acquisition funnels, conversion optimization and how to use data to improve them
• Very good ability to work with data, Customer Data Platforms, performance metrics and experiments to drive decisions and set priorities
• Experience collaborating effectively with Product, Tech and Analytics teams on shared initiatives
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
