We are seeking an experienced Billing Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a team of Billing Specialists, focused on supporting our home care agency customers in executing their revenue cycle operations. This position is a good fit for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about supporting home care service delivery by ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for the important care agencies provide in home and communities.
This role follows HHAeXchange’s hybrid work model (3 days/week) out of our Bloomington, Minnesota office location.

Essential Job Duties
Manage a team of Billing Specialists responsible for:
Generating and submitting claims to insurance companies, government programs, and other payers for services provided to patients.
Utilizing agency management software to accomplish billing tasks efficiently.
Payment Posting: Recording and posting payments received from insurance companies, patients and other sources to the appropriate patient accounts in the billing system.
Accounts Receivable Management: Monitoring and following up on unpaid claims, rejections/denials, and any outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.
Serve as a revenue cycle subject matter expert for the team, researching and resolving challenging billing discrepancies or denials to facilitate reimbursement.
Develop and update team training documentation to ensure continuous improvement
Manage and enhance internal and externally facing operational processes, identifying and implementing improvements
Collaborate with other operational and product teams to refine service delivery and enhance the overall customer experience.
Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and advocacy through strategic engagement, ensuring high Net Promotor Scores (NPS) and strong customer references.
Regularly interface with customers to understand their needs, goals, and how we can best support them. Address customers inquiries promptly, coordinating with cross-functional teams for swift issue resolution.
Analyze customer performance metrics, identify trends, and suggest improvements to optimize revenue cycle processes. Generate reports on billing and AR performance, including key metrics and KPIs, for internal and external consumption.

- Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel
Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
- 5+ years of Revenue Cycle Management experience, with deep knowledge of billing, common denials, payment posting, electronic transaction formats, and payer portal navigation.
- Home Health Agency knowledge: Understand the processes and requirements related to exchanging health care information with Home Health Agencies, including compliance with regulations and standards.
- Proven success in customer engagement and relationship management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strategic, intellectually curious, and skilled at solving problems with clear, fact-based recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable to change, and collaborative across cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $80,000 - $90,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
