Marketing Manager

Job Description

About Us:

Homebound is on a mission to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to build a home using technology. Created by an experienced team of construction, real estate, design, and technology experts, Homebound is transforming the residential construction industry by improving the costly and inefficient process of building a home.

We’ve created an entirely new way to build homes with technology powering every stage from start to finish to provide a seamless experience for our customers. Homeowners across the country can choose where they want to live, select a home plan that’s perfect for them, then personalize and buy it, all online. Homebound has raised $150M in capital from leading venture capitalists like Google, Khosla, Thrive Ventures, and we’re scaling quickly in places like Texas, Colorado and Florida. Come build your future with us.

About The Role:

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in executing high-impact marketing initiatives across multiple markets, driving projects from kickoff through completion. This role is highly hands-on, actively managing campaigns, producing deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving execution across digital, print, events, and signage. You will work closely with sales, construction, A&D, and external partners to bring campaigns and community launches to life, generate qualified demand, and support day-to-day marketing operations.

This is a hybrid role in one of our current markets: Dallas or Houston TX, Tampa or St. Petersburg FL or Los Angeles, CA.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, events, and partnerships

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and performance across multiple active communities

  • Support new community launches, inventory pushes, and event marketing initiatives

  • Partner with agencies to manage paid media across search, social, and programmatic channels

  • Oversee website updates, landing pages, and SEO best practices

  • Ensure all marketing materials align with Homebound’s brand voice and positioning

  • Develop compelling copy and messaging across email, web, social, and sales collateral

  • Collaborate with the in-house graphic designer to produce high-quality creative assets

  • Work closely with sales teams to align on buyer insights, messaging, and lead follow-up

  • Partner with construction, A&D, and operations teams to ensure accuracy in marketing materials

  • Support PR and community engagement efforts, especially in disaster rebuild markets

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in the homebuilding or related real estate industry required

    • Experience in launching local communities required

    • Experience with top homebuilders and exposure to central strategy teams is preferred

  • Execution Skills: Highly organized and execution-focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion. Strong project management skills with a proven ability to coordinate across teams, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Drive and Adaptability: You thrive in a hyper-growth startup environment and can navigate ambiguity with ease. Your personal drive and ability to adapt to changing circumstances are crucial for success.

  • Collaboration: As a collaborative team player, you excel at building alignment and maintaining openness to different opinions. You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and ensure smooth coordination across stakeholders.

  • Quality and Impact: Committed to delivering high-quality work with strong attention to detail. You strive to deeply understand goals, challenge existing thinking, and deliver high-quality work that has a significant impact. You’re passionate about brand and customer experience, believing in the potential for homebuilding to create magical experiences with digital tools.
