About the Role
Industrial Color is seeking a senior-level Project Manager to support one of our leading luxury beauty clients. This role is a critical operational bridge between Marketing and Creative teams, responsible for driving clarity, alignment, and execution across all active projects.
This is not a creative lead role. The Project Manager will not own creative direction or concept development, but will ensure that marketing objectives are translated into clear briefs, feedback is delivered on time and with precision, systems are followed, and projects move forward efficiently.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and operator—someone who puts structure around complex workflows, keeps teams aligned, and drives projects forward with confidence, urgency, and calm.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Creative Operations (Core Focus)
- Act as the day-to-day operational liaison between Marketing, Creative, Digital, Social, Legal, and external partners
- Translate marketing inputs into clear, actionable creative briefs
- Ensure all teams are aligned on scope, timelines, deliverables, and approval paths
- Drive projects forward by proactively identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies
- Maintain momentum across multiple workstreams without sacrificing accuracy or quality
Project Planning & Delivery
- Own project planning from brief approval through final asset delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing
- Track all projects in a centralized, transparent system visible to all stakeholders
- Ensure deadlines are met and escalation happens early when risks arise
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Establish clear communication structures (status updates, meetings, documentation)
- Set expectations and hold teams accountable to timelines and agreed workflows
- Ensure feedback is gathered, consolidated, and delivered clearly, consistently, and on time
- Keep leadership informed of progress, risks, and decision points
Asset & Workflow Management
Asset Management & Quality Control
- Oversee asset organization, file naming, tagging, and delivery across campaign types
(launch books, institutional, digital, social, and medical assets)
- Perform quality control to ensure assets meet technical specifications, naming conventions, and rights requirements
- Partner with external vendors and agencies to ensure compliance with established systems and standards
Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement
- Monitor ongoing operational performance and project health
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend workflow or process improvements
- Support consistent adoption of systems and best practices across teams
Creative Workflow Support (Operational, Not Directional)
- Facilitate creative reviews and feedback sessions
- Ensure feedback is specific, actionable, aligned, and documented
- Manage approvals across marketing leadership, legal, and brand teams
- Confirm final assets are approved, properly organized, and delivered to the correct platforms or teams
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in project management, creative operations, or production management
- Direct experience within cosmetics, beauty, or luxury beauty brands
- Deep understanding of marketing-to-creative workflows, approvals, and timelines
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to give clear direction and timely feedback
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating at speed
- Experience working with agencies, creative teams, legal partners, and external vendors
Nice to Have:
- Experience within a large, global beauty organization
- Familiarity with matrixed teams, layered approvals, and regional workflows
- Experience working with DAM platforms and rights management tools
The anticipated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility to work in-office and remotely. Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required during major projects.
We offer a competitive benefits package including major medical, dental and vision insurance, FSA, HSA, and employee discounts.
