The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Fixed Network Strategy & Architecture Leader to guide our clients’ transformation journeys across HFC, Fiber, Virtualized Access, Orchestration, and Autonomous Networks. You will engage directly with CxOs, Managing Directors, VPs, and senior stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps, evaluate technologies, lead architectural design, and oversee delivery across multi‑country deployments.

You will lead a cross‑functional team responsible for shaping next‑generation access infrastructure — from strategy and RFIs to architecture, lab validation, field deployment, and operationalization.

What You Will Do

  • Lead strategic conversations with C‑suite and VP‑level stakeholders on the evolution of fixed access networks, transformation priorities, and modernization roadmaps.

  • Own the creation of end‑to‑end strategies, roadmaps, high‑level architectures, reference designs, and vendor evaluation frameworks (RFI/RFP).

  • Oversee lab validations, PoCs, architecture proving, and early‑life deployment support for HFC, DOCSIS 3.14.0, and XGS‑PON solutions.

  • Guide cross‑functional delivery teams executing design, deployment, and operationalization of next‑gen access architectures.

  • Drive multi‑vendor alignment, ensuring quality, performance, and standards compliance across the ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with country organizations to accelerate rollout, resolve blockers, and ensure design consistency and adoption.

What You Bring

Deep Access Technology Expertise

  • Extensive experience with HFC, DAA, DOCSIS 3.14.0, vCCAP/vCMTS, and XGS‑PON triple‑play architectures.
  • Strong understanding of HFC/Fiber access network design, standards, and interoperability.
  • Mastery of PON and DOCSIS specifications.

Aggregation & IP Networking Skills

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN, Traffic Engineering, Multicast, and timing protocols.
  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, RPDs, CMTS, cable modems, OLT/ONT/ONU, BNG, RADIUS, etc.
  • Exposure to SR‑IOV, DPDK, network virtualization, and Linux/Unix systems.
  • Understanding of network security fundamentals.

Virtualization, Automation & AI

  • Understanding of SDN/NFV, end‑to‑end orchestration, and autonomous networks.
  • Experience with disaggregated and virtualized network functions.
  • Knowledge of Network Data Enablement, NaaS consumption models, and APIs such as CAMARA.
  • Awareness of AI‑driven network use cases (computer vision, patch robots, closed‑loop assurance, etc.).
