We are looking for a Working Student to support our Finance department in various operational and strategic tasks.
Support operational accounting tasks across multiple regions, including validating and coding vendor invoices, managing accounts payable inboxes, and resolving accounting queries.
Assist in the preparation and timely submission of Value Added Tax (VAT) filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
Contribute to monthly management consolidation and annual closing processes for all subsidiaries.
Support intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and quarterly transfer pricing calculations.
Help ensure strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist in developing and documenting new accounting processes in collaboration with internal teams and external accountants.
Requirements
You have a major in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and bring initial practical experience in accounting or finance through internships, a working student position, or a completed commercial apprenticeship, for example in accounting or financial administration.
You possess a solid foundation in bookkeeping principles and accounting standards such as HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP.
Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive, hands-on working style enable you to thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
You are highly motivated to learn and contribute to process improvements.
Excellent English skills, both spoken and written, are required, and German skills are considered an advantage.
You are confident in using MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP is a plus.
