Job Description
Make a difference in the world of branded protein snacking as Senior Accounts Receivable EMEA at Jack Link’s EMEA.
Our spacious and modern HQ is located in the vibrant Amsterdam, and includes a highly international team, with more than 25 different nationalities. Our EMEA team is committed to continuing its impressive EMEA expansion, one bite at a time, and becoming the regional leader in branded protein snacks.
This position is based in Amsterdam and you will be reporting to the Team Lead AR EMEA.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating of reports on the status of off-invoices (marketing, services, advertising measures, penalties)
- Reporting to the Claims Resolution Manager on the status of off-invoice claims and rejections
- Handling of off-invoices after approval by Key Account Management
- Communicate with the Claim Coordination Team and the Collections Team
- Adjustment of corresponding provisions in SAP
- Creatiing and posting of credit notes and clearing of items
Qualifications
EU Citizenship and/or valid work permit is required. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. All applications must be submitted in English, as it is the company’s corporate language.
- At least 5 years of work experience in Accounts Receivable
- Educational background in Business Administration, Finance or similar field
- Good knowledge of VAT regulations in relation to processing customer receivables/credit notes would be desirable
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills. You are resilient and able to challenge the status quo, you are capable to holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
- You are good in priortizing work to meet commitments with alignment of organizational goals
- By nature you are hands-on, able to processing claims and optimizing work processes with a focus on continuous improvement
- You are action oriented and a problem solver, taking new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- Fluency in English, other languages such as Spanish and/or Dutch would be an advantage
- Tech Savy: Experience with SAP FICO, Excel and MS Office Tools. You have great analytical and numerical skills!
- You are great in reporting, determining and analyzing trends from data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making
