What you’ll do at Jamf:
The IT DevOps Engineer I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting and improving the automation, deployment, and monitoring of software systems across development, testing, and production environments. This position works closely with software developers, system administrators, and QA teams to ensure reliable releases, efficient pipelines, and consistent infrastructure management.
The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of software development, CI/CD principles, and cloud-based infrastructure, with a passion for continuous improvement and learning in a collaborative, Agile environment.
This role is offered as hybrid in Katowice. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.

What you can expect to do in this role:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments with in Salesforce and AWS.
- Support system configuration, monitoring, and maintenance for development and production environments.
- Work with development and QA teams to ensure smooth code integration and deployment
- Help design and maintain infrastructure as code(IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and manage CI/CD processing using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Troubleshoot build or deployment issues , escalating when necessary and documenting resolutions.
- The DevOps engineer I works out of a Service Management support queue for support and projects tasks
- Contribute to environment upgrades , and automation scripts that improve delivery speed and reliability.
- Support security, compliance, and operational standards across cloud and on-prem systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies , sprint planning, and post-release reviews to improve DevOps processes.
- Implement and maintain automation in the build and release process to improve efficiency and quality while applying the necessary engineering theory and logic to meet overall requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of component changes with related elements to ensure seamless flow and continuity.
- Manage the documentation creation and updates related to any tasks.
- Create different configuration & infrastructure environments in a development lab to support the troubleshooting of issues and project development.
- Ensure synchronization of data and code between all production and test environments.
- Any other task or projects as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience. (Preferred)
- 6+ months experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes. (Required)
- 6+ months demonstrated experience in current programming language (to include at least one mainstream object-oriented or functional language) and tools based on position requirements. (Preferred)
- Experience in an agile or continuous integration devOps environment. (Preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce administration. (Preferred)
