What You’ll be doing
Develop and Scale: You will contribute to building reliable, scalable solutions for our core product, Tellent Recruitee, an innovative Applicant Tracking System (ATS) used by thousands of organizations globally.
Balanced Development: Your day-to-day will be split between building new capabilities that customers need and modernizing the existing codebase to improve performance and maintainability.
Collaborative Impact: You will have a real influence on how we build our solutions, participating in technical discussions and helping align system design with business goals.
Ownership of Tasks: You will take responsibility for delivered features, ensuring they are well-tested and meet our quality standards, while having the support of more experienced teammates when making architectural decisions.
Maintenance & Debugging: You will help ensure a stable user experience by identifying and fixing bugs, as well as maintaining existing applications to keep them running smoothly for our customers.
Teamwork: Expect regular pair programming sessions and real-time problem solving, as we value collaborative work and sharing knowledge within the team.
About the team
You will join the Team Hire, a vibrant group of professionals dedicated to the strength and growth of the Tellent Recruitee product. We operate in a collaborative environment where Backend and Frontend developers work closely with Design, QA, and DevOps teams to solve complex problems where scale matters. While we offer full flexibility and remote work options across Poland, we stay tightly connected through daily collaboration. We believe in keeping the atmosphere light, fun, and informal, following a “come-as-you-are” culture. Our development teams communicate primarily in Polish, while our documentation and wider company interactions are held in English to support our global scale.
What you bring
Backend Expertise: You have a track record in Elixir programming or a strong motivation to switch to this stack after gaining commercial experience in Ruby on Rails or other backend technologies like Python, Java, or PHP.
System Design: You have proven experience in building scalable applications and a solid knowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Search & Tooling: You possess a general knowledge of ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ.
Problem-Solving Mindset: You possess strong debugging skills and a pragmatic approach to maintaining existing applications, putting stress on quality and error-free solutions.
Product Thinking: You don’t just implement specs; you think deeply about whether we are solving the right problem for our users and can evaluate technical tradeoffs.
Linguistic Skills: You have a good command of Polish and at least an intermediate level of English (B2), allowing you to contribute effectively to technical discussions and documentation.

Salary in the range of:
For B2B: 14.000 - 20.000 PLN + VAT and 30 paid break days
For an employee contract: 11.600 - 16.600 PLN and 26 paid holiday days on employee contract + 2 wellbeing days each year
