Job Description
Our Private Equity Fund Services team is seeking to add an Associate to support fund accounting and investor services operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting or finance professional looking to build experience within the private equity industry. Key Responsibilities
- Record daily journal entries and review cash reporting activities
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages for management approval
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements
- Prepare capital calls and distribution calculations for management review
- Coordinate the delivery of capital call and distribution notices to clients and investors
- Prepare and review correspondence with investors to address inquiries as needed
- Manage and maintain client investor portals
- Coordinate and complete special projects assigned by management
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required
- Work Pacific Time Zone (PST) business hours
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BBA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
- 0–1 year of experience in public accounting, investment banking, financial services, or demonstrated interest in private equity fund operations and accounting
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Investran or other partnership accounting software is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Ability to maintain professionalism when communicating with clients and investors
- Adaptability and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
