About This Role

As Nectar’s Growth Marketing Lead, you will build and own app acquisition and early-funnel growth from the ground up! This role is about taking our biggest advantage (content, creators, and cultural relevance) and designing the systems that turn attention into installs and activations. You’ll own growth across organic, UGC, paid, partnerships, ASO, and real-world activations, working closely with creative and product. This is a zero-to-one, hands-on operator role. There is no fully built growth engine today. You’ll define the strategy, build the systems, run the tests, and compound learnings over time.

What You’ll Own:

  • End-to-end user acquisition and early-funnel growth for the Nectar app
  • The initial growth strategy, operating model, and experimentation framework
  • Integrated growth execution across:
    • Organic social (UGC-first)
    • Content integrations with Jubilee & Nectar channels
    • App Store Optimization (ASO)
    • Paid social
    • Influencers & creator partnerships
    • Activations, stunts, and IRL moments

What You’ll Do:

Growth Strategy, Systems & Execution

  • Define and execute Nectar’s early-stage growth strategy from scratch.
  • Own the full discovery → install → activation funnel across channels.
  • Build scalable acquisition playbooks that convert attention into installs.
  • Identify which channels, creatives, and loops are worth scaling based on early LTV:CAC signals, and which to kill.
  • Treat ASO as a performance channel: continuously test keywords, metadata, screenshots, previews, ratings prompts, and conversion flows.

Creative, UGC & ASO Engine

  • Design and operate a high-velocity creative and UGC testing system.
  • Build workflows and feedback loops that make creative iteration predictable.
  • Write and iterate hooks, scripts, captions, CTAs, and app store messaging.
  • Decide when creative or ASO performance warrants higher-production investment.

Experimentation, Learning & Optimization

  • Run structured experiments across creative, channels, and app store surfaces.
  • Optimize for learning speed over polish.
  • Clearly articulate why something worked, what didn’t, and what to test next.
  • Build repeatable systems for experimentation, reporting, and iteration.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Measurement

  • Partner closely with Product on onboarding, activation, ratings prompts, and early retention.
  • Coordinate social, content, and app store updates with Jubilee and Nectar calendars.
  • Track acquisition, conversion, and activation KPIs across channels and app stores.
  • Develop a clear understanding of CAC by channel (paid, UGC, influencers, organic, ASO, activations).
  • Operate effectively with imperfect, early-stage data.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience driving growth for a mobile app or product
  • Proven track record owning the discovery → install → activation funnel across multiple channels
  • Experience building acquisition systems from scratch in early-stage or zero-to-one environments
  • Hands-on with ASO: keyword strategy, metadata testing, screenshots, previews, and conversion optimization
  • Experienced in UGC and creative testing frameworks (hooks, formats, CTAs, scripts, iterations)
  • You’re energized by creative velocity, experimentation, and rapid iteration

Work Model

At Jubilee, we follow a hybrid work model — We’re in the El Segundo office 3 days a week and remote for 2. So, you’ll need to be local or ready to make the move!
