Let’s start with the role
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team!
This role will lead the end-to-end marketing strategy of Betano in Portugal, with a clear focus on building brand loyalty and driving business growth—particularly through customer acquisition. Special attention will be given to managing and maximizing the impact of existing strategic partnerships (SL Benfica, FC Porto, Sporting CP).

As a Marketing Manager, you will:
- Take full accountability the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation across channels;
- Be responsible to deliver customer acquisition targets, working in parallel with Performance MKTG teams, with sustainable CACs;
- Lead the planning, execution and analysis of large-scale ATL&BTL campaigns, always ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints and creative materials;
- Build and maintain excellent work relationships with sports entities and oversee brand activations at the top-tier sponsorships that Betano has established in the market namely Sporting CP, SL Benfica and FC Porto;
- Work closely with media and creative agencies, along with media teams at Kaizen to deliver an effective media plan;
- Help to foster a culture of creative excellence across the company ensuring all marketing initiatives are consistent with our brand voice;
- Mentor a high-performing cross-functional marketing team and build a collaborative working relationship between teams placed in different geographies;
- Monitor key KPIs such as CAC, LTV, customer engagement, brand visibility and brand awareness;
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations, particularly regarding advertising standards and responsible gaming practices.
What you will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years in marketing leadership roles, ideally in e-commerce environments;
- A proven track record in managing large-scale campaigns and partnerships;
- Experience in media buying, brand construction, digital and performance marketing;
- Strategic and analytical thinking.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent understanding of the Portuguese market and consumer behavior;
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
