We are representing our client, a prominent technology organization in the consumer electronics industry, in their search for a seasoned Human Resources Partner to strengthen their HR function in Amsterdam. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to operate across diverse European territories, including the United Kingdom and Nordic regions, while integrating tactical HR operations with strategic initiative leadership. The ideal candidate will serve as a key contributor to both day-to-day HR functions and transformational HR projects, with particular emphasis on payroll platform implementation and organizational development initiatives. This role suits a versatile HR professional who excels in cross-cultural settings and enjoys merging immediate operational needs with forward-thinking strategic goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership (70%)

  • Serve as dedicated HR business partner to management teams and workforce across Nordic countries and the UK
  • Deliver comprehensive HR consultation on talent development, workforce relations, employee engagement, and organizational growth initiatives
  • Lead talent acquisition planning, succession management, and structural transformation efforts alongside regional and local partners
  • Oversee end-to-end employee journey including recruitment integration, documentation management, role transitions, and departure procedures
  • Address workplace disputes and employee concerns with sensitivity and professional expertise
  • Ensure adherence to corporate HR frameworks while maintaining compliance with regional employment regulations
  • Oversee precise personnel documentation and system reporting within HRIS platforms
  • Generate HR analytics and strategic insights to inform leadership decisions

Payroll Operations & Management

  • Support monthly compensation processing across designated regions through partnerships with external vendors and finance departments
  • Guarantee precision, punctuality, and complete adherence to regional tax and employment legislation
  • Oversee payroll data entry, validation procedures, and authorization processes while maintaining information accuracy and audit preparedness
  • Resolve employee compensation inquiries and concerns efficiently
  • Function as primary HR liaison for payroll audits and regulatory compliance assessments

HR Systems & Project Leadership (30%)

  • Lead project coordination for current payroll platform implementation initiative, including transition from multiple provider systems to consolidated processing solution
  • Champion development and deployment of new HRIS infrastructure for compensation management
  • Contribute to forthcoming organizational consolidation initiative (321 project), encompassing agreement modifications, benefit standardization, and insurance coordination
  • Promote process standardization across HR and payroll functions in all supported territories
  • Apply advanced Excel expertise for project information management, reporting, and analytical tasks
  • Engage in interdisciplinary projects focused on enhancing employee satisfaction and operational effectiveness
  • Facilitate system testing, data transfer, and user education for new technology platforms

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent discipline
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-regional payroll administration (UK, Turkey, and/or Nordic countries advantageous)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regional employment legislation, payroll compliance, and regulatory reporting
  • Proven involvement in HR or payroll technology implementation initiatives
  • 5–7 years of comprehensive HR Generalist background, ideally within international organizations
  • Outstanding relationship management and communication capabilities, with demonstrated ability to influence across diverse cultural contexts
  • Strong analytical approach with sophisticated Excel proficiency and HR information management expertise
  • Capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively and manage competing deadlines in dynamic environments
  • Adaptability to work within evolving process frameworks and optimization environments
  • Demonstrated composure under pressure and discretion in handling confidential matters
  • Professional proficiency in English (verbal and written communication)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms including Workday, SuccessFactors, or comparable systems
  • Experience within rapid-growth or scaling organizations where you’ve contributed to HR process development
  • Knowledge of payroll systems with HRIS integration capabilities
  • Proficiency in additional European languages
  • Background within technology or consumer electronics industries
  • CIPD certification or equivalent professional HR credentials
