We are looking for a Billing Analyst to join our Finance team in Costa Rica. As a Billing Analyst, you will oversee the meticulous process of client invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing for all media, creative, and other agency services with multiple brands, as well as assist with creating and maintaining financial records, in but not limited to accounts receivable.
What You’ll Do:
- Client Invoicing Oversight: Manage the end-to-end client invoicing process, ensuring adherence to budget/retainer schedules and accurately billing clients for billable charges.
- Billing Accuracy: Review billing activity with Client Services teams, comparing actual charges with pre-billing data to determine if any billing adjustments are necessary.
- Create and implement billing adjustments as needed.
- Internal Client Communication: Liaise with Client Services teams to address internal and external billing queries promptly and professionally, ensuring clients are properly billed and all charges have appropriate approval.
- External Client Communication: Liaise with clients at times to address billing questions and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as required, leveraging your analytical skills to contribute to strategic initiatives, including Accounts Payable support.
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of billing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required; provinding a solid foundation in financial principles and practices.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines; able to multi-task
- Confidence, good judgment/communication, self-motivated, energy and personality to work in a fast-paced environment across all levels of management and across functions and geographies
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Demostrating adaptability to different tools and systems.
- Excellent English communication skills: B2+/C1 level.
