Job Description

Keywords Studios is looking for a Project Manager to help with the growth of its Marketing service line. Depending on your background, skills, experience and resourcefulness, you may be the right person for the job. We value human skills and character as much as we do experience and proficiency.

Is this job for me?

You are organized, speak/write professionally in multiple languages, can think on your feet and keep your cool under pressure. You can multitask, follow many email threads in different languages and at the same time keep an eye on our internal messenger app and the client’s messenger app and follow the progress of the tasks you assigned to our designers (located in different countries/time zones). You have an interest in games in general and a keen eye for their promotion… sometimes you even watch game ads on YouTube and appreciate the work that went into making them!

Sounds like you? Then this job is for you!

About Keywords Studios:

Keywords Studios is the No 1 technical and creative solutions partner to the global videogames industry. It is composed of 4 major service lines: Create (game development), Engage (Marketing), Globalize (Localization) and Media & Entertainment.

The team you will be joining is part of Keywords’ marketing service line, which combines strategy, creative, production, social media, PR and player engagement to help clients not only find their fans, but also safely build and engage their community and keep players playing for longer.

Typical day

First you will have to go through your emails to follow any on-going development on the titles you are managing. Then you will either communicate to our artists the latest change requests, gather the assets received from a developer or confirm that banners are good to go live to our partners. Then you will need to spend some time on ClickUp, to see how the tickets you created for our designers are progressing, see if they have any questions or issues, and create new tickets in case you have received all the necessary elements from developers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally with partners and clients, in multiple languages and in a timely manner.

  • Receive files, organize and share them according to the standards set by previous colleagues.

  • Confidently communicate with all members of the company and sister studios.

  • Plan and schedule work for designers, follow up on progress and raise awareness to other PMs and/or clients if there is any delay or blocker in the work.

  • ClickUp management: Create and assign tickets according to schedule, add relevant and clear feedback, move and update tickets according to latest developments.

  • Keep a cool head. The PM is like an orchestra’s maestro: you set the tone and pace of work. You must be aware of how your other fellow human beings are performing to make sure they can keep producing great work under decent working conditions.

  • Copy generation and Native check: Each of our PM is responsible for a specific language in our ads

  • Quality check: the PM is the last security check before sending any documents to partners and clients, so you must be able to quickly check any outgoing material for mistakes and ask for correction when needed.

  • 4+ years professional experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in multiple languages:

    • Native or fluent English is a must (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent)

    • Native or fluent Indonesian (Bahasa) is a must.

    • Fluency in one or several Asian languages is a big plus, such as

      • Japanese
      • Korean
      • Chinese
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Monday.com, Jira etc.)

  • Mastery of AI: You use AI proficiently at work, know when to use it and when to be careful with its usage. You know how to write prompts, how to improve them and how to feed data the right way.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow existing processes.

  • Keen eye for details to quality check all the outgoing work and provide constructive feedback for fixes.

  • Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to creative discussions

  • Eager to learn from reviews and constructive feedback

  • Strong personal time management

  • Ability to work remotely and independently. Previous freelance experience is a plus.

Preferred Experience

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Experience in translation/localization
  • At least one year of experience in the video game industry
  • At least one year of experience in a creative agency
