We founded Kora in 2017 to build payment infrastructure for Africa. Our goal is to simplify how businesses handle pay-ins, payouts, and settlements across the continent. We offer a core payment engine that processes single and bulk transactions, allowing businesses to expand throughout Africa with just one integration.

Our platform helps businesses accept major online payment methods in multiple currencies via a localized checkout. We also facilitate real-time payments directly to bank accounts and mobile wallets. Our settlement flows are designed to make it easy for businesses to receive their transaction value. For developers, we provide simple integrations, an API, and a processing engine to collect, disburse, and settle funds efficiently.

Security is a priority. We use a real-time AML transaction monitoring system and comply with regulatory standards like PCI, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and Visa Global. Thousands of local and global brands use Kora to expand in Africa and beyond.
