Job Description
We are searching for a passionate and analytic-focused Customer Accounts Officer that excels at billing and reconciliation, as well as an analytical thinker and data slicer who desires to help the team improve existing account processes and grow. You possess good mathematics abilities centered on reconciliations and are enthusiastic about discovering new and better methods to accomplish things in a fast-paced technological company.
Key responsibilities:
Create customer profiles within the billing and CRM systems.
Manage account details by adding servings, tariffs, and contract end dates.
Process manual payments and set up customer Direct Debits.
Maintain CRM accuracy by updating contract start and end dates.
Handle customer account enquiries and manage tickets for the accounts team.
Prepare monthly reports, including Dialpad Activity Reports and bi-monthly team meeting reports.
Conduct reconciliations for products, vendors, and cash receipts.
Monitor credit card expirations and issue payment reminders or rejected payment notifications.
Execute bill run preparations and perform initial checks.
Desirable skills and experience:
Must-haves:
3-5+ years of experience in Billing and reconciliation, preferably within the Telco Industry
Strong mathematical skills particularly focused reconciliations in excel
Strong MS Excel skills include using a range of formular to analyse and interpret data
Experience with using Cloud Account software for financial reporting, preferably Xero
Nice-to-haves:
Proven ability to think critically and analyze data to resolve problems.
Excellent comprehension and communication skills.
Ability to foster good relationships with internal teammates and cross-functional teams.
Proactive attitude in supporting the manager by suggesting new ideas and questioning current thinking.
