Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice

Founded in 2009, we are a nationwide network of veterinarians dedicated to end-of-life pet care. We offer in-home euthanasia, telehospice, and pet loss support services.

Our services also include one-on-one grief coaching, group workshops, online forums, six-week small-group curriculums, Zoom support groups, and Facebook Live sessions for grieving families. We also handle veterinary outreach, clinic relationship management, and education on in-home end-of-life care.

We manage our own call center for client support and scheduling, and we handle veterinary recruitment. Our work focuses on in-home pet hospice, in-home pet euthanasia, veterinary medicine, and compassionate care.

Our purpose is to create a peaceful and personal end-of-life experience for pets and the people who love them. Our philosophy centers on the human-animal bond, and we aim to keep that bond as undisturbed as possible during difficult times. We are committed to providing dignified end-of-life experiences at home.

We have between 501 and 1000 employees in the veterinary services industry. Our work environment is largely remote, with many roles allowing employees to work from home.

Some positions, like veterinary outreach and clinic relationship specialists, require significant travel (up to 75%) across the U.S. Other roles, like veterinary recruiters, might involve about 10% travel.

We provide a mandatory four-week training program for call center representatives. Our teams, including Marketing, Recruiting, HR, Employee Relations, and Pet Loss Support, collaborate regularly. Some roles may involve working evenings or weekends.
