Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with a background in the construction industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reporting, while working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
This role allows for hybrid flexibility
Salary: $45,000-65,000/year depending on education and experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, billing, and cash application for construction projects.
- Review contracts, change orders, and project documents to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Monitor and manage aging accounts receivable, identify past-due accounts, and perform collections in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of AR transactions in the accounting system and prepare AR reports for management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and audit support.
Requirements:
- 3+ years AR experience
- Construction industry experience
