Engineering at Levelpath:
We are looking for engineers to help us build our public-facing applications.
This position is hybrid with flexible working hours and office in Teodors /Jaunā Teika. In this role you will have the opportunity to be a part of an international team and an agile environment with short decision paths. We currently use Slack, Zoom, Github, AWS, but you may leverage any devices and tools that allow you to do your best work.
What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end data pipeline from source to visualization
Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using dbt and AWS DMS
Develop Looker explores and LookML models for self-service analytics
Architect near real-time reporting infrastructure
Implement data quality monitoring and alerting
Enable cross-product reporting at scale
Requirements
3+ years in Data/Analytics Engineering
Strong SQL with performance tuning — PostgreSQL preferred
dbt for data transformation
Looker/LookML development experience
Data warehousing architecture and modeling (star schema, SCDs)
AWS DMS or similar replication tools
Multi-tenant SaaS experience (data isolation, scaling)
Independent worker; clear technical communicator
Nice to Have
Snowflake
Ruby scripting
CI/CD for data workflows (Airflow, Dagster)
Streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)
HEAP Analytics integration
Suggested Additions
CDC patterns and data contracts
Python for orchestration
Query optimization at billion-row scale
Data observability tools (Monte Carlo, Great Expectations)
Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
