We founded Limbic in 2018 to develop clinical AI tools for mental healthcare providers. In 2020, we launched our products to help address the shortage of mental healthcare.

We help behavioral health organizations offer more care, faster, and with better patient outcomes. Our offerings include an Intake Agent for patient onboarding and FAQs, a Triage Agent that screens patients, predicts diagnoses, and routes them to appropriate services, and a Therapy Agent that provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through chat.

Our AI system is built for safety and compliance in healthcare. It’s the only mental health AI chatbot with Class IIa medical device certification in the UK. We are also HIPAA and GDPR compliant, ISO 27001 compliant, and hold a Cyber Essentials certification. Our solutions work with various EHR systems to improve clinical efficiency.

We have supported 500,000 patients, leading to a 2x increase in patient recovery rates, a 23% lower dropout rate, and a 29% increase in minority referrals. Our science team includes 10 PhDs in medicine, AI, and computational psychiatry. Their work has been cited over 8,500 times in scientific publications.

Science and research are central to what we do, driven by our team’s backgrounds in neuroscience, psychiatry, machine learning, and medicine.
