About Lincoln Avenue Communities

We are a family-owned and operated owner, developer, and investor specializing in affordable housing nationwide. Founded in 2016, we have 51-200 employees. Our main goal is to provide affordable housing for low-income families, individuals, and seniors. We achieve this through government rental subsidies (like Section 8 and Section 42) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).\n\nOur work includes new construction, where we use 4% and 9% tax credits to build affordable housing units. We also preserve existing affordable units by renovating them, preventing their conversion to market-rate properties. Additionally, we provide workforce housing for residents earning 60% to 120% of the area median income. We serve over 80,000 residents across 28 states.\n\nOur headquarters are in Santa Monica, CA, and we also have offices in New York, NY; Denver, CO; and Minneapolis, MN. Our projects include property rehabilitations with environmental upgrades, such as new low-flow water appliances, energy-efficient HVAC systems, LED lighting, and solar panel installations.
