About Linus Health
We are a Boston-based digital health company, founded in 2019, focused on transforming brain health. We develop science-driven solutions for earlier detection, intervention, and ongoing care of cognitive and brain disorders. Our digital platform combines neuroscience, clinical expertise, and artificial intelligence to provide early detection, actionable insights, recommendations, and personalized action plans. We support research institutions, life sciences companies, and healthcare delivery organizations.
Our digital cognitive assessment platform uses AI. It’s based on over 10 years of initial research and development at MIT and Lahey Medical Center. Our technology has been validated in over 20 articles and featured in more than 150 publications. It’s proven sensitive in detecting subtle signs of cognitive impairment and associated with Alzheimer’s biomarkers.
We offer several digital cognitive assessments:
- Core Cognitive Evaluation™: This assessment takes around 8 minutes. It combines quantitative insights from a digital assessment with qualitative insights from a life and health questionnaire. It measures memory (verbal and visual), executive functions, visuospatial skills, attention, language, and motor skills.
- DCTClock™: Taking approximately 2 minutes, this assessment uses machine-learning algorithms to assess motor, cognitive, and time-based performance. It measures visual memory, executive functions, visuospatial skills, attention, and motor skills.
- DCR™ (Digital Clock and Recall): This assessment takes about 3 minutes. It uses machine-learning algorithms to detect subtle signs of cognitive impairment by analyzing drawing behavior and speech during digital clock drawing tasks and 3-word verbal recall. It measures verbal and visual memory, executive functions, visuospatial skills, attention, language, and motor skills.
Our solutions target US hospitals, health systems, and large physician practices. We also help life science companies with cognitive studies. We also develop consumer-facing healthcare experiences for patients and research participants.
