About Lochmueller Group
Founded in 1980, we are an employee-owned firm providing survey, planning, engineering, and environmental solutions to clients across the U.S. and abroad. We focus on practical, cost-effective, and environmentally sound planning and design. Our services include civil and structural engineering, traffic engineering, water resource planning and design, and environmental services. These environmental services cover NEPA studies, ecological restoration, cultural resources, endangered species monitoring, and permitting, including constructed wetlands. We also offer construction inspection, various survey types (topographic, wetland mitigation, geotechnical investigation, GPS control, and construction layout), asset and resource management, right-of-way engineering (preparing abstracts, evaluating land rights, appraisals, and negotiations), transportation modeling, civil and site design, construction administration, energy and industrial services, landscape architecture, supply chain and logistics (Velis), and roadway and highway engineering.
We expanded our cultural resource expertise across the Midwest by acquiring the Archaeological Research Center of St. Louis, Inc. We have 18 offices in Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, and Texas. Engineering News Record (ENR) has recognized us as one of the Top 500 Firms.
